The Four Quadrants

The phase space reveals fundamental differences between capital types:

  • Top-Left (High E, Low H): Debt extracts aggressively over short periods
  • Top-Right (High E, Med H): Equity extracts via governance over medium terms
  • Bottom-Left (Low E, Low H): Grants don't extract but deplete quickly
  • Bottom-Right (Low E, High H): Regenerative capital operates perpetually without extraction
